You’ve prepared a delicious meal of meat and vegetables.  It’s all very filling, but just a taste of something sweet would be the perfect way to top it off.  Don’t turn off the grill just yet.  You can grill your dessert!

Grilled fruit is an excellent way to add a sweet taste, without adding a lot of calories.  Slice bananas lengthwise and marinate in orange juice.  Place them on foil on the grill and add some cinnamon.  Pineapple, apples, peaches, pears, and plums, mixed in a compote or on a skewer are perfect.  Add a side of yogurt for dipping, and you are all set.  It’s simple, easy, and healthy.
